<div>It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic news of the passing of our beloved doorman, <strong>Jason Negron</strong>.

<div>On May 15th at about 6 p.m. on 109th Street and Amsterdam Avenue, a speeding vehicle jumped the curb and struck a group of pedestrians. <strong>Jason and a friend tragically lost their lives in the accident</strong>, while three others remain hospitalized. <div>Jason had been a dedicated member of the 545 community since the building opened on October 20, 2006. For nearly twenty years, he served our residents with unwavering dedication, kindness, warmth, and a wonderful sense of humor. More than a doorman, Jason was a friend to so many and an important part of our building family. He was also an important part of our community - he lived just a few blocks from the building where he worked and was a beloved member of his local community.
