<div>As many of you know, my folks adopted two amazing kittens about a year and a half ago. <strong>Dutch Boy and Ollie are the best companions; they have brought so much joy and love into my parents' lives.</strong>

<div>Last week was a doozy. <strong>Dutch Boy had to have emergency intestinal surgery.</strong> Sadly, there were just no other options. Without the surgery, this sweet, young kitty would have died. Luckily, the surgery was successful!

<div>Little Dutch is now home recuperating, being showered with love, gentle snuggles, and all the treats.

</div>

<div>The recuperation from the cost, however, is not so gentle. As a couple in their late 70s on a fixed income, the unanticipated expense of $4,445.71 has been a blow.
