<div>On Friday, October 3rd, Amanda found her partner and father of their two beautiful children barely conscious on the floor after what was thought to be a stomach bug. He was rushed to the hospital, where doctors discovered he had gone septic due to MRSA.

<div>Brian underwent heart surgery in April, and the infection had spread to his heart, attaching to the replaced valve and circulating through his bloodstream, affecting other organs.
