<div>A man from Adan's neighborhood, experiencing an episode of paranoia, had a firearm and took aim at Adan as he was crossing the street after running an errand. This event took place midweek, midday, and was not a targeted shooting. This tragedy could have happened to any one of us and may be a story of the times we are living in—the shooter's horrific and irreversible response to the stresses of our world and his own personal battles.

<div>Adan was the loving father of five children and a loving husband, son, friend, and sibling. His loss has devastated a family and their community. Many fundraisers have been done to assist the family in paying for the expenses of Adan's funeral.
