<div>On July 12, the Carter Family’s lives were rocked when Ethan was injured during a shooting in Alabama. Ethan was shot 7 times, including in the head, neck, hands, chest, and arm. Ethan survived but suffered serious injuries, including a traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Ethan was initially released from the hospital, but unfortunately, his TBI is severely impacting his cognitive abilities right now. He has been readmitted to the hospital for further treatment.
