<div>Recently, our world changed. My grandmother was diagnosed with lung cancer, and doctors also discovered a tumor growing near her collarbone. She has just started her radiation treatments, and even though she is fighting with everything she has, her body is struggling more than ever.

<div>Right now, she needs a specialized breathing machine to help her lungs function. This machine is critical for her daily comfort, her safety, and her ability to keep fighting. But Medicaid will not cover it — and the cost is $18,000. This is something our family simply cannot afford on our own.

<div>My grandmother has never been the type to ask anyone for anything, but I refuse to let her go without what she needs. She deserves a chance to breathe comfortably, to rest without fear, and to continue her fight with dignity.
