Ellie has struggled with breathing issues and has signs of hypermobility issues along with difficulties swallowing and eating. She underwent surgery for a gastrostomy tube so she can eat. Unfortunately, she is not tolerating her gastric feeds, so she will need to stay in the NICU for another few months until she can get big enough for her Gastrojejunostomy procedure.
