<div>My dad, Donald Keith Grimes, is scheduled to undergo spinal fusion surgery on <strong>Monday, August 4th, at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital.</strong> This will be another major step in a long, painful journey he's been enduring since 2013.

<div>For over a decade, my dad has battled severe back, neck, and nerve issues that have deeply affected his quality of life and kept him out of work. He's already undergone multiple surgeries and had a spinal cord stimulator implanted to help manage the constant pain. Sadly, a few months ago, the stimulator stopped working—and with the pain returning full force, another major surgery is now his only option.

<div>To move forward with this necessary procedure, my dad had to take out a<strong> $20,000 loan to cover costs that insurance wouldn't</strong>. He was also denied financial assistance by the hospital, leaving our family with limited options.
