<div>As you may know, on October 28, 2025, Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica and left destruction across the island, mostly in the Hanover/Westmoreland Parishes.

<div>This tragedy has affected many, including <strong>my maternal grandfather, who is now without a home.</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>My name is Demoy Howell, and my family (pictured below with my grandfather) and I in the U.S.A. are looking to help him <strong>replace the roof and rebuild his home.</strong>
</div>

<div><strong>Our goal to get him safely back in his own space is important, and any donations are greatly appreciated.</strong>

<div>“My dad born 1938 in Jamaica and reside in Hanover for 87 years. He was a Painter  and worked every day until he had a Stroke in 2023.  
</div>
<div>Because of the strokes his balance and speech was affected.  A few health issues but now is speech is almost as good has before.  My dad is a fun loving person; Always smiling and always helping out when he can. Everyone in his home town of Hanover call him ‘Uncle Sam’, even the little kids.”
