My daughter is a current student in Dawn Meyers' class at Miller Junior High. <strong>Dawn is a special education teacher with the Aberdeen School District for the past 4 years, previously a teacher with North Beach School District for 3 years.</strong> Her dedication to her work and the students is remarkable. I know she would give anything to be back in the classroom.

<div><strong>Dawn Meyers suffered a serious medical emergency while at school and was taken to the hospital where she was in the ICU for 3 days. The medical team determined she suffered a stroke.</strong>

<div>Dawn continues to suffer excruciating headaches and is very tired and weak. Medical tests are still being conducted to find proper treatment options.

<div>Since being released from the hospital, she has relied on transportation assistance to and from all appointments, as well as the emergency room 5 times seeking relief from the pain. continues to be in hospital for test along the way. Meals are being prepared and delivered daily.

<div>Dawn has been unable to return to work and has endured numerous medical tests while searching for answers. Dawn has used sick time from her employer.
