Dave and Marcy have always been hardworking and dedicated, but their world was turned upside down when Dave was diagnosed with a very aggressive stage 4 cancer of the ampulla of Vator. The diagnosis came as a shock, and the outlook is unfortunately not optimistic. Just as they were starting their own business, Salty Girl Pool and Spa, after being let go from their longtime jobs, this tragedy struck. Without insurance and unprepared for such devastating news, they now find themselves in a situation where they need the support of family, friends, and their community more than ever. 
 
 
 
 Dave is unable to work consistently due to the severe side effects of chemotherapy, and Marcy is doing everything she can to keep their business afloat while caring for Dave and holding her family together. The costs of prescriptions, gas for countless trips to doctors and hospitals, and daily living expenses have stretched their resources to the breaking point. Every day is a struggle, but they are doing their best to stay hopeful and strong.
