<div>As many of you know, the Donaldson-Miller family has been faced with some devastating news over the past few months. Between the sudden and unexpected loss of Jacob’s beloved father and <strong>Courtney’s recent breast cancer diagnosis, just weeks before their wedding</strong>, Courtney and Jacob are beginning to feel the financial strain of everyday expenses and medical bills.

<div>Courtney, 22, was recently diagnosed with a rare and extremely aggressive form of cancer, angiosarcoma. Due to the aggressiveness and an increase in size of Courtney’s tumor within a few weeks of diagnosis, Courtney’s treatment has begun with chemotherapy, AIM (Doxorubicin, Ifosfamide, Mesna). The plan is for Courtney to receive 6 cycles of chemo, radiation, then surgical intervention, which will consist of either a single or double mastectomy. During these treatments and procedures, Courtney and Jacob will continue to travel and stay in Birmingham when needed. Due to a recent complication with Courtney’s mediport, her providers have asked that she not work due to the nature of her profession (horse trainer).
