He was airlifted to the hospital with severe injuries, including a broken leg that required a four-hour surgery, a severed artery, and head and neck trauma. Corey is currently still hospitalized, facing at least another week of care, multiple skin grafts, and a long road of physical therapy ahead.

<div>Corey’s wife, Malarie, is a school teacher who is currently without income during the summer break, and their young son Mason shares a special bond with his dad, especially when working on cars and projects together. With Corey unable to work and Mallory between paychecks, the family is struggling to cover their most basic needs—rent, utilities, and home insurance. While relatives are helping with childcare and the family is seeking state assistance for medical costs, the immediate need is to keep a roof over their heads and the lights on during this difficult time.
