<div>I hope you all are well... My name is Melissa, wife to Clint, and we have two beautiful girls, 7 &amp; 19. Our family is having financial hardship due to a second round of a rare cancer my husband has that is called Myxoid Liposarcoma. He is a Navy veteran who was a firefighter on the ship's flight deck. We live in Alaska and believe it or not, there is not a cancer specialist in the entire state who will care for this cancer; therefore, we need to fly to the Fred Hutch Cancer Center in Washington. <strong>VA will not pay for our flights due to not being "service connected."</strong> We have been at zero income since 25 rounds of radiation treatment, and I've been a stay-at-home mom, homeschool teacher, and volunteer at our local mission. <strong>We are asking for help for travel so my husband won't have to be in Washington for 3 weeks without his family.</strong> There is a huge risk of not being able to pay for our Hotel or Transportation. If this cancer returns for a 3rd time, he will need to have his leg amputated. <strong>Please, if you find it in your heart to help donate or donate time to pray, that is so appreciated from our whole hearts.</strong> Thank you and blessings!
