<div>I was the only African American resident in my program, at a community hospital, that was already troubled and on academic probation prior to my arrival. Despite my hard work and passion for medicine, I experienced clear and repeated instances of unequal treatment. When I bravely voiced my concerns to Human Resources, I hoped for support and change. Instead, I was dismissed from the program in what I believe was a direct act of retaliation.

<div>This situation is not just about me—it’s about standing up against systemic racism in medicine. <strong>I’m currently seeking legal representation to fight this injustice and protect my right to continue in my profession.</strong> But legal battles are expensive, and I cannot do this alone.
