<div>Hello! My name is Brook Dill and I am an art teacher at Dr. Jorge Prieto Math and Science Academy in Chicago Public Schools. I have been teaching at this school since 2009 when it opened. About two years into my time there we became overcrowded and I was put on a cart to teach for 9 years! I was very excited in 2019 when I was told there would be a second art teacher and we would have a classroom. I shared the art room at Prieto for 5 years. This year will be the first year I will have my own room since 2011. I am so excited and I cannot wait to really do the kinds of projects and work that I have been wanting to do for so long. The budget is sparse as there are four arts positions at my school and we share the money. I am looking to supplement this by doing this GoFundMe. Please consider helping out! There’s a bunch of very talented artists in my building that would love to learn more about art through trying new things.
