<div>My name is Corey Salas and I am opening this fundraiser for my sister Brittney Salas. Brittney has Guillain-Barré syndrome, a very rare autoimmune disease where her immune system attacks her nervous system. It's progressed to full body paralysis and she is intubated. She was transferred to UCSF on Sunday 8/2 and is in the ICU. She was in Santa Maria in the ICU for about 3 weeks where she was regressing, because of her rapid decline since being admitted she needed a specialist on her case. Transport was by ambulance to UCSF where she has a few specialist on her case. She has a very long road ahead of Physical Therapy and neurology to get her body functioning properly again.

<div>At the moment its a waiting game, we don't have many answers yet but we are praying to see progress and the first step is to see her breathing on her own again.
</div>
<div>Any help is appreciated. We want to help pay her regular monthly bills as well as her hospital bills that are quickly accumulating.
