<div>Last year, Boise made history with the<strong> </strong><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3Ks8qr7Zyg" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>First Trans Joy March in Idaho</strong></a> . Together, we showed our community, our city, and our state that Trans, Nonbinary, and Intersex people are here, we are thriving, and we are not alone.

<div>This year, the world around us feels different. Politically, socially, and culturally, the pressure against our community has intensified. But so has our resilience, our creativity, and our joy. Out of last year’s March, we birthed <a href="https://transjoyboise.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Trans Joy Boise</strong></a> , a grassroots collective by and for Trans, Nonbinary, and Intersex locals led by <strong>Preston (</strong><a href="https://www.instagram.com/pacey_speaks/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Pacey Speaks</strong></a><strong> )</strong> &amp; <strong>Bonnie Violet (</strong><a href="https://www.aqueerchaplain.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>a queer chaplain</strong></a><strong> )</strong>.

<div>     Launched the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/@transjoyboise" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Trans Joy Boise Podcast</strong></a>  (new episodes weekly!)

<div>     Created weekly <a href="https://transjoyboise.org/support" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>social support group</strong></a><strong> </strong>

<div>☕️ Gathered community at our monthly <a href="https://transjoyboise.org/cafe" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Trans Joy Boise Café</strong></a>  — a mix of fair + social space where folks can access resources like help with name and gender marker changes, while also just being in joyful community

<div>      Hosted a <strong>Trans Wedding</strong> celebrating love and visibility

The 2nd Annual Boise Trans March will be held on September 5, 2025, and <strong>we need to raise $2,000 in just 2 weeks </strong>to cover permits, supplies, outreach, accessibility, and the essentials that make a march safe, powerful, and joyful.
