My sweet 2-year-old nephew, Antonio, was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. Antonio is the son of my only brother, Julián Fernando Ramos, and his wife, Alexandra Valencia. They also have an 8-year-old son, Emilio, who is very worried about his little brother. Aside from my youngest daughter - Andrea, my husband - Luis, and myself, they have no other family here to lean on during this difficult time. Antonio will need a minimum of 2.5 years of chemotherapy treatments, as well as his mom's full-time care -- drastically reducing their income.
