<div>My name is Anthony Alvarez, and I’m honored to share that I’ve been accepted into <strong>Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary</strong>, where I’ll be pursuing a Master of Divinity degree. I am in candidacy with the Oregon Synod of the ELCA to become a rostered minister of Word and Sacrament.

<div>I am fulfilling a call I have felt throughout my life—through ministry work, personal growth, and most recently, getting sober in April 2024. God has led me both through struggles and healing, and now I feel called to serve, using my life experiences to reach the marginalized.

<div>Seminary is not only a spiritual commitment, but a hefty financial one as well. I have been blessed to receive a scholarship to cover a percentage of the cost of school; however, <strong>I have additional fees that I will need to cover for the first semester.</strong>
