Amber Hodgins has been a pillar of strength for her family, friends and community, providing love and care despite her health challenges. Now, she needs our help more than ever.

<div>At only 41 years old, this incredible woman has been battling a severe interstitial lung disease that developed after a horrible bout of covid while pregnant with her now three-year-old son. Despite her tireless efforts to maintain a healthy lifestyle (she does not smoke, vape, etc.), her condition has worsened. She was recently admitted to the ICU here in Walla Walla, Washington with a collapsed lung (tension pneumothorax) and pneumonia. Doctors have determined that a lung transplant is her only hope for survival and a chance to continue caring for her children.

<div>The cost of a lung transplant is exorbitant and beyond the financial means of our family. Alongside the surgery, there are numerous additional expenses such as pre-transplant evaluations, hospital stays, post-surgery care, medications, rehabilitation, and childcare. These costs are overwhelming for a single mother who is already doing everything she can to provide for her six children. All contributions will go directly towards these needs.
