At this time, the only communication we have had with our family in Jamaica was a short call confirming that they are physically unharmed, but their homes have been destroyed. What I have seen is my father's home parish covered in rubble, homes torn to the ground, streets flooded, and roads completely destroyed. These conditions have delayed the ability for boots on the ground aid to reach the community.
