<div>It is with great sadness that I share my wife, Alishia Diane Calicdan, is in the final stages of her life. She has faced extensive medical challenges since July, primarily related to complications from diabetes, a condition she has struggled with since childhood. Unfortunately, time has caught up with her, and we are now faced with the decision to allow her to transition peacefully, rather than remain on life support, which I know she would not wish for herself.
