<div>Alex is a young man and fledgling artist from the Philippines who just recently moved with his family to Florida a few months ago. In mid-May, he was involved in an accident which caused him to land on and break his dominant arm.

<div>Currently, he is recovering with a cast on his arm. However, with no job, no way of taking art commissions, and most harming: no health insurance (in the U.S. no less), he is incurring large costs for his current and upcoming medical care.

<div>We are hoping to raise money to offset some of these costs and make things easier for him to get back on his feet.
</div>
<div>The rough estimate right now for the total cost is $40,000 and we're hoping to at least raise a few thousand for initial costs during recovery. Any extra will go towards the final amount.
