<div>As the cost of reliable communication equipment such as radios and dispatch consoles continue to rise, I will be running a 100-mile race to raise funds to upgrade our sheriff's communication equipment, helping to defray the cost from our county's general funds.

<div>100% of the proceeds will be split between the Carbon County Sheriff's Office (for operational communication equipment upgrades,) and the Carbon County Search and Rescue Teams (for operational communication equipment upgrades.)

<div>In addition, this 100-mile journey is aimed to raise awareness of the impact that state-level property tax reduction legislation has on local governments and emergency services in the state of Wyoming.
