<div>This situation requires immediate legal action. I need to retain an experienced immigration attorney to file a habeas corpus petition and advocate for Alexis in court. These legal costs are significant and time-sensitive.

<div>At the same time, I am managing all of our living expenses on my own after relocating to Delaware to start our life together. Alexis’s family is in Venezuela, and my support system is in Virginia, leaving me to navigate this process largely on my own.
