<div>My mom had a devastating blow to her life, less than 24 hours after her completely remodeled home hit the market and she was set to retire. An unexpected storm smashed a tree through her home, resulting in multiple days of water damage.

<div>All of her money went into preparing the home for a buyer, which now has devastated her financially. Her home is not livable, and any income from SS must still cover her mortgage. Her obligation to keep the power and lights on while the repairs occur is looming.

<div>Her heart is broken. She had no retirement. She was counting on this to be her life savings. When the home will be repaired, fixed, and relisted is extremely unknown as well. So I will keep this up as long as I'm able until she sees the finish line.
