</div>

<div>My name is Ana Alicia Guevara, mother of the 21-year-old from El Salvador whom ICE pursued in Newark, New Jersey, on the morning of February 25, 2026. ICE repeatedly rammed his van to force him to stop, causing a serious accident. The accident ICE caused during the pursuit was solely to apprehend the driver because they didn't know who was driving the van. When they caught him, they beat him, leaving him with numerous bruises. Since his arrest, he was briefly taken to the hospital, given morphine, and then transferred to the Elizabeth Detention Center, where he is only given Tylenol.

<div>As a single mother of four children, I have no support, except for Christian. Christian is a child who graduated from high school with honors, but he stopped pursuing further studies because he does not have documents and because he helps me—he is my support. My soul is broken. I am devastated and even sick from so much pain.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I want to ask the community for help with my heart full of anguish and pain, but hand in hand with God, I ask that He touch your hearts as well. Even one dollar helps—whatever is born from your heart. Please donate. My son is still in shock and badly injured.

<div>I thank you in advance. I need help to pay lawyers. Please. Today it is me going through this process, tomorrow it could be one of you. My son Christian Guevara was working. He is a good person. God knows it, and I know it as his mother. Please help me. He is a good son and a friend to the community; he is very loved. Many people have called me—thank you. My helplessness is unbearable, and there is evidence that can help get him out today for me, tomorrow for you.
