<div>Our 5th graders are organizing a walk-a-thon to raise funds for clean water in South Sudan. As part of their learning experience, students read the book <em>A Long Walk to Water</em>, which tells the inspiring story of Salva Dut, one of the Lost Boys of Sudan. This unit not only highlights the conflict in the region but also sheds light on the water crisis faced by many countries around the world.
