<div><strong>S. 34 Conciliation Conference Update</strong>
</div>
<div>On <strong>Monday 17 November 2025</strong>, the parties in Repoly Pty Ltd v NSW Independent Planning Commission and Ors, a Class 1 development appeal in the Land and Environment Court, attended a Court-directed Conciliation Conference pursuant to s 34 of the Land and Environment Court Act 1979.

<div>The Conciliation Conference is a mandatory alternative dispute resolution process. It began with a public phase that was held at the site of the proposed development.
</div>
<div>During the public phase, six community objectors chosen by the IPC made submissions that were heard by the Commissioner, the parties and their legal representatives.
</div>
<div>Following the conclusion of the public phase, a private session of the Conciliation Conference was held at the Picton Local Court. The contents of that part of the Conciliation are, and remain, confidential to the litigants.
</div>

<div>The Conciliation Conference has been adjourned to <strong>19 March 2026.</strong> If the Conciliation is terminated then or subsequently, the matter will return to the Court for the allocation of hearing dates sometime in <strong>2026.</strong>
