Over the past few years, I’ve dedicated my platform to making politics accessible, digestible, and empowering for all — especially for LGBTQ+ communities who are too often left out of the conversation.

<div>Tomorrow, I’ve been invited by the House Democratic Policy and Communications Committee to Washington, DC, to join the Equality Act Content Creator Row. I’ll be interviewing congressional leaders, creating educational content, and helping spread the word about the urgent need to pass the Equality Act — legislation that would finally guarantee nationwide protections for LGBTQ+ Americans, women, people of color, and religious minorities.

<div>Every video you see — whether it’s from the Capitol steps, a congressional interview, or a Pride event at the White House — is the result of my own personal investment. I usually fund these trips out of my pocket, working drag shows on the weekends to make them happen.

<div>A last-minute day trip from NYC to DC, with transportation for myself and my videographer Jacob, is stretching my budget to the breaking point — so much so that I’m using my rent money for May to cover the costs.
