<div>Hi, my name is Josh and I’m the school chaplain at Heritage College. I’m writing this on behalf of one of our incredible students and their family, who are currently facing a really tough time.

<div>Over the past 12 months, one of our beloved year 9 students, Anthony Castillo, has been bravely fighting a rare and aggressive cancer. Despite undergoing extensive treatment, there has sadly been little improvement in his condition. His Oncologists have decided there are no more treatment options available.

<div>As a school community, we want to stand beside Anthony and his family during this heartbreaking time. His mum has had to step away from work to care for him full-time, and the financial pressures they are facing are significant.
</div>

<div>We are raising funds to help ease the day-to-day living costs for the family, provide Anthony with opportunities to enjoy special moments and experiences with his family and plan for the road ahead.
</div>

<div>Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will go directly to supporting this courageous young person and the people who love him most.

<div>In the midst of deep sadness, we cling to hope, love, and faith. As it says in Psalm 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
