We want to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming love, support, and generosity you’ve shown to the Jackson family during this incredibly difficult time. Your prayers, shares, and donations have meant the world to us.

We’re relieved and grateful to share that Ron is making a steady recovery. His strength, along with the outpouring of support from this community, has helped carry him through the early stages of this journey. With his oldest daughter just graduating high school last week, there have been moments of joy and hope during what has otherwise been a heartbreaking and challenging time.

However, Ron still has a long road ahead.

He has undergone multiple major surgeries to his liver and faces months of rehabilitation and recovery. The physical, emotional, and financial toll is heavy. As the primary provider for his wife Leighten and their five children, Ron’s inability to work has left the family in a vulnerable position. The medical bills, along with everyday household expenses, are quickly becoming overwhelming.

With your continued support, we can help lift some of this burden. Every donation — no matter the size — brings relief and stability to a family that never expected to be in this position.

Please consider donating or sharing this campaign to help Ron focus on healing and to ensure his family is taken care of during this time. We are deeply grateful for your compassion and support.

Help Support Ron Jackson and His Family After the Lakewood Park Tragedy

On May 28th, Ron Jackson was spending a beautiful, sunny day at Harry Todd Park in Lakewood, WA with his wife, Leighten, and their five young children — four girls and one boy. It was the first hot day of the year, and they were simply enjoying a peaceful afternoon together at the lake.

In an instant, everything changed.

Ron was one of the victims of the mass shooting that has shaken our entire community and made national headlines. He was shot and is now facing a long and difficult road to recovery, including major surgery on his liver. This was a senseless act of violence that affected innocent families — and Ron was just a father trying to create memories with his children.

We are asking for your help.

This GoFundMe is to support Ron’s extensive medical bills, recovery expenses, and help Leighten care for their children while also trying to manage household needs during this traumatic time. Ron is a devoted father, a loving husband, and a kind soul whose life was forever altered in a moment.

Please consider donating, sharing, or simply keeping the Jackson family in your thoughts and prayers. Every bit of support matters and is deeply appreciated.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.
