<div>On 1/17/26, at around 10am, <strong>Roberto Garcia spotted a swarm of ICE agents attempting to make an arrest on Evergreen Way, South Everett.</strong>

<div>He offered the arrestee support by videotaping and verifying their rights weren’t being violated. Roberto asked the agents if they had a judicial warrant, which they did not. From there, things escalated quickly and led to Roberto being chased down, slammed to the ground, arrested, threatened, and charged with obstruction of a federal investigation.

<div>Roberto is an educator, youth advocate, a community voice, member and leader who dedicates his time to supporting the youth at our local schools. He didn’t deserve this, and as someone who serves our community to the fullest, <strong>I am asking our community to in turn have his back during these times.</strong>
