On October 9, 2025, Maggie’s husband was detained by ICE. He is the heart of their home. His detention happened without warning, leaving her and their three children ages 14, 10, and 3 facing fear, uncertainty, and financial strain, a reality many families in Oceanside know too well.

A message from Maggie

“These moments have been extremely hard for me and my children. My husband means the world to my children and to me. He was always there to support them in every way, whether in their education, sports, or spiritual life. He has always supported me with my dreams and goals. We never imagined this would happen to our family. It is very hard to look your children in the eyes and see how much they are hurting inside. More than ever I will continue to help my community because I know what it feels like to have your family torn apart. Your prayers, donations, and shares will help us get through this difficult time. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.”

She has shown up for others again and again. Now it is our turn to show up for her. Every contribution helps this family stay stable and cared for while they work to bring their loved one home.
