I lost everything — my independence, my stability, and most painfully, many of the people I thought I could count on. Since then, the road has been incredibly hard. I’ve struggled with homelessness, isolation, and the weight of starting over from zero.

<div>But despite everything, I refuse to give up. I’ve decided to go back to college — this will be my second time starting, and this time it’s not just about classes, it’s about doing something meaningful for myself. Education is my way forward, my chance to build a better life even while facing the challenges of paralysis.

<div>Still, I can’t do this alone. I need help. I need support from friends and family. I need stability — a safe place to live, resources to keep me in school, and encouragement to keep pushing. I may have lost so much when I was shot, but I’m determined not to lose my future.
