<div>If you know Ward Shaw, you know he is everyone’s friend. He is the guy who makes people laugh, makes you feel welcome, and always shows up for the people he cares about. Right now, Ward needs us to show up for him.

<div>Ward was recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure and is in critical condition. He is fighting hard and taking things one step at a time.
</div>

<div>This health crisis has created a heavy financial strain. Alex has been taking time off work to be with Ward in the hospital. When Alex cannot be there, he pays for caregivers to sit with Ward so that Ward is never alone. Between lost wages, caregiving costs, and everyday bills, it has become overwhelming.
