<div>From the Ashes, We Rise – If 20,000 of us gave £1 — Jamaica would rise again..
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’ve had over 20,000 people view this page — if each gave just £1, we’d rebuild homes, feed children, and light the dark tonight.
</div>
<div>Families in Whitehouse, Westmoreland &amp; St Elizabeth lost everything when Hurricane Melissa struck. Roofs are gone, power is out, water is scarce — but together we can bring hope back.

<div>Who we are:
</div>
<div>We are <strong>Becky and Carl</strong>, founders of <strong>14 Parish</strong>, a fast-growing Jamaican takeaway and catering brand based in London. Both of us have deep Jamaican roots — Carl was born in <strong>St Thomas</strong>, and Becky spent much of her childhood living and going to school in <strong>St Elizabeth</strong>. Our business celebrates Jamaica’s rich culture and resilience, and our hearts remain firmly tied to the island we still call home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We visit regularly and have close ties with families in <strong>Whitehouse, Crawford,</strong> and <strong>surrounding communities</strong> — among the hardest hit by Hurricane Melissa.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This campaign is coordinated through Becky’s mum, who is <strong>on the ground in the Whitehouse area</strong>, organizing logistics, community awareness, and verified local distribution networks.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our families come from Jamaica’s South Coast — <strong>St Elizabeth</strong> and <strong>Westmoreland</strong> — now struggling to recover after the devastation of Hurricane Melissa.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After the storm, <strong>thousands of women, children, and elders</strong> have been left without roofs, clean water, or electricity. While large organizations focus on major cities, smaller coastal towns are too often the last to receive help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“As Jamaicans, we watch women carry hope through devastation.
</div>
<div>This campaign isn’t charity — it’s accountability.
</div>
<div>We’re delivering direct aid through verified suppliers, transparent reporting, and photo updates from the ground. Every £25 you give will be seen in action — in water delivered, roofs covered, and lights shining.”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That’s why <strong>14 Parish, Elevate, Patois, Monikah Lee,</strong> and a consortium of young home-grown entrepreneurs are stepping in — delivering <strong>direct, transparent, and immediate relief </strong>through trusted local networks.
</div>
<div><br />

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We’re not a large NGO. <strong>We’re a collective of young, home-grown entrepreneurs and proud Jamaicans with deep community roots and unshakable hearts</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>United by our love for the island that raised us, we’re the next generation using our voices, businesses, and platforms to uplift our people —<strong> ensuring that the unseen are never forgotten.</strong>
</div>
