<div><strong>Pourquoi cette cagnotte ?</strong>

<div>Cette campagne est lancée avec l’accord d’Armand, pour deux raisons essentielles :

<div>1) diffuser au maximum le dossier médical d'Armand, disponible <em>via</em> le lien inséré ci-après, dans l'espoir d'enfin trouver un diagnostic après 6 longues années d'errance médicale ; et
</div>

</div>
<div>2) soutenir financièrement Armand et sa famille, épuisés par des années de dépenses non prises en charge.

<div><strong>Qui est Armand ?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Armand a 28 ans. Diplômé de deux masters de droit (Sorbonne &amp; Paris-Saclay), il se destinait à devenir avocat. Sportif, cultivé, curieux, il était plein d’élan.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Depuis 2019, sa vie est bouleversée par des douleurs chroniques très intenses dans le bas du dos et le long du nerf sciatique. Aucun examen n’a permis d’en identifier la cause. Il a subi une opération de reconstruction isthmique en 2022, sans effet.

</div>
<div>Aujourd’hui, sa vie est quasi immobile :

<li>Il ne peut marcher que quelques mètres ;
</li>
<li>Il ne peut plus s’asseoir ou s’allonger sur le dos plus de 5 minutes ;
</li>
<li>Il passe 23 heures par jour allongé sur le ventre ; et
</li>
<li>Il ne reçoit aucune aide publique, et son dossier MDPH a été refusé malgré l’ampleur du handicap.

<div><strong>Une errance médicale</strong>
</div>

<div>Les examens (IRM, scanner, radios dynamiques, scintigraphie osseuse, électroneuromyogramme…) semblent tous normaux et ne mettent pas en évidence de conflit pouvant expliquer la symptomatologie.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div>Ces hypothèses sont assez peu étudiées en France, mais peuvent l’être à l’étranger (notamment en Allemagne ou en Suisse ou Armand est en ce moment en train de consulter).

<div>This campaign is launched with Armand’s consent, for two essential reasons:

<div>1) To share Armand’s medical case as widely as possible, via the link below, in the hope of finally finding a diagnosis after 6 long years of medical wandering; and

<div>2) To provide financial support to Armand and his family, who are exhausted by years of uncovered medical expenses.

<div><strong>Who is Armand?</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Armand is 28 years old. He holds two master’s degrees in law (from Sorbonne and Paris-Saclay) and was on track to become a lawyer. Sporty, curious, and passionate, he had his whole life ahead of him.

</div>
<div>Since 2019, his life has been turned upside down by intense chronic pain in the lower back and along the sciatic nerve. No test has been able to identify the cause. He underwent isthmic reconstruction surgery in 2022, without any effect.

<div>Today, his life is almost completely restricted:

<li>He can only walk a few meters;
</li>
<li>He can no longer sit or lie on his back for more than 5 minutes;
</li>
<li>He spends 23 hours a day lying on his stomach; and
</li>
<li>He receives no public assistance, and his application for disability benefits was rejected despite the severity of his condition.

<div><strong>A medical dead end</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>All imaging (MRI, CT scan, dynamic X-rays, bone scintigraphy, EMG, etc.) has returned normal and shows no clear conflict that could explain his symptoms.

</div>

<div>Two main hypotheses remain to be explored:

<li>Post-surgical or peri-neural adhesions / fibrosis (invisible on standard imaging); and
</li>
<li>Pelvic or lumbar venous congestion.
</li>

<div>These hypotheses are rarely explored in France but may be considered abroad — Armand is currently seeking consultation in Germany and Switzerland.
