<div>Share the Love — Plant a Coffee Tree
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Instead of flowers this Valentine’s, plant something that actually lasts.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For $5, you can plant a coffee tree at Ruhunga Development School @ Uganda Lodge in Ruhunga, Uganda.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In 3 years, it begins producing income. In 5 years, it’s in full production. It can produce for up to 99 years, giving these farmers' children a real chance to rise out of poverty.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our goal is 50,000 trees — which would generate about $150,000 a year for the school.</strong> We have managed to plant 23,000 to date. That means in a few years, the school supports itself.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Not constant fundraising. Not dependency. Sustainable income.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>“ If you give a man a fish, he eats for a day. If you teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime”
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Plant one tree for each child or grandchild. Plant one in honor of someone you love. Plant ten and start a grove.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Roots instead of roses.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>⸻
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We currently subsidize 50% of every child’s tuition so families pay about the same as failing government schools — but receive a strong private education.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Monthly sponsorship:
</div>
<div>• $15/month supports a day student
</div>
<div>• $30/month supports a boarding student
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Last year’s national exams placed us among the top schools in the area — with strong A and B results and only 3 C’s. No D’s. No fails. Families are noticing — lives are being changed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you’ve ever wanted to give a gift that keeps giving, this is it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Plant a tree. Grow education. Share the love. ❤️</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>(All proceeds will be sent directly to the Ugandan NGO “Stand on Your Own”
</div>
<div>pictured are the two founders, Director Denis who grew up in Ruhunga and had a dream that all village children and farmers children would get an education,along with Patron Ann McCarthy from the UK who has tirelessly raised money for 20 years. We need to give her a break at 83!! And make the school sustainable.)
</div>
<div>Thank you for your consideration.
