</div>

<div>Alhamdulillah, this year we aim to assist at least <i>200</i> individuals by providing fresh produce, non-perishable food, and essential household goods to families during this blessed month of Ramadan.

</div>

<div>Before going any further, we sincerely thank you for your unwavering support throughout the years.

</div>
<div><b>Why This Initiative?</b><br />
</div>

<div>This year’s Ramadan Initiative is centered on relief, dignity, and community responsibility.

</div>

<div>
</div>Within the West African communities of our city, many single mothers and fathers are raising children while navigating the challenges of starting over in a new country. For these families, accessing basic necessities week to week can be overwhelming, especially during Ramadan.
While we fast by choice from dawn to dusk, many of our neighbors face food insecurity and financial strain that extends far beyond fasting hours. That reality calls us to action.
At SGDI Serves, we believe service is not seasonal, it is a responsibility. Ramadan reminds us that faith must be demonstrated through compassion and action.
This initiative is about easing burdens, restoring dignity, and allowing families to experience this blessed month with greater peace and stability as our Holy Book instructs us.
<i>“And cooperate in righteousness and piety.” (Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:2)<br /></i><b>Our Mission &amp; Vision
</b><br />SGDI Serves exists to uplift communities through the help of Allah. We are committed to:
Supporting children through scholarships and mentorship
<div><span><br /></span>
</div>
<div><span>Providing essential services to families in need</span><br />
</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Serving the underserved in both the U.S. and West Africa
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div>Through every initiative, our goal remains the same: to make a lasting difference, one life at a time.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><b>How This Initiative Will Work

</b>
</div>

<div>SGDI Serves will coordinate planning, promotion, fundraising, purchasing, and volunteer organization.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>On distribution days, tables will be set up outside participating Masjids.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>Volunteers will assist with organizing and preparing goods for families.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>An <i>assembly-line</i> system will ensure an efficient, organized, and respectful distribution process.

</div>

<div><br />
</div>

<div>The first <b>100</b> individuals at each location will receive prepared bags and be free to go.
</div>

<div>This structure allows us to serve efficiently while maintaining dignity and care for every family we encounter.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><b>Fundraising Goal

</b>
</div>

<div>Our initial goal is <b>$1,500</b>.

</div>

<div>However, with multiple masjids in surrounding areas and increasing need, reaching <b>$5,000</b> would significantly expand our impact.

</div>

<div>If we surpass our goal, we have transportation readily available to deliver supplies to additional local masjids and serve even more families across our community.

</div>

<div>The more we raise, the more we can serve.
