It started with a limp, and now her paw is completely atrophied and is essentially a growing open wound that won’t close. The infection has been persistent and has eaten away at the bones in her paw.

<div>Proceeding with the surgery is an easy choice—it’s not a surgery-or-put-down decision. She’s had X-rays and blood tests to confirm the cancer hasn’t spread. Dr said she has great blood work for a cat her age!
