<div>My name is Tyler Brune, I’m the Director of the Scribble Jam Documentary. I began working on the film almost four years ago, simply as a passion project. Since then, the documentary has grown to a size I never could have predicted. I’m extremely appreciative of all the support the film has received over the years, and I’m determined to do this story justice and give Scribble Jam the respect it deserves in hip hop history. The film is currently in the final stages of development, and I am making the final push to get it completed and released in the best shape possible. I truly appreciate your patience and support for this project, and I look forward to getting the film released soon for the world to see. Thank you!

<div>The Scribble Jam Documentary follows the unlikely story of the 1996-2008 hip hop festival, Scribble Jam. A Cincinnati-based festival with a humble beginning, Scribble Jam exploded into becoming one of the largest hip hop events in American history. Scribble Jam is the only hip hop festival to feature and celebrate every aspect of hip hop, simultaneously and in one location. This included emcee battles, DJ battles, breakdancing battles, and graffiti writing. The festival holds many deep roots in hip hop history, including jumpstarting the career of Eminem in his early battle rapping years. In addition, several other notable artists have performed and have close ties at Scribble Jam. This includes MF DOOM, Atmosphere, KRS-ONE, Big Daddy Kane, Aesop Rock, and more. Scribble Jam holds a monumental mark on hip hop history. The documentary will explore its impact on people all across the country, and the unlikely scenarios that led to its existence.
