<div>Over the past year, Sandra's health deteriorated rapidly. She developed severe abdominal swelling caused by a large build-up of fluid (ascites), alongside increasing pain, fatigue, and an inability to work.

<div>Initially, Sandra was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis and ovarian cysts. However, thanks to donations from supporters, she was able to access further investigations and specialist care. Recent CT scans and medical assessments have revealed that the ovarian mass is now believed to be the primary cause of her symptoms and is suspected to be cancerous.

<div>Sandra is currently awaiting surgery to remove the mass, after which doctors will have a clearer understanding of the treatment she will need moving forward.
