<div>So, we got a ferret earlier this year. She is just the joy of our home. Such a fun, loving pet. She's very spoiled, as she should be, lol. My son calls her his best friend. Her name is Pixie.

<div>Recently, she ingested something. She started getting very weak and lethargic. It happened very quickly. I took her to an emergency vet as it was after midnight. My son was hysterical and begging me to help her.

<div>So, we arrived. They admitted Pixie. I applied for a credit card and it was charged $850. They recommended surgery, so the price went up to $2,000. I was told the object she ingested needs to be removed or she will die. <strong>So, I agreed to do the surgery but really don't have the money to do so.</strong> I am employed, but I don't have that kind of money just laying around.
