<div><strong>UPDATE: Our case is before the court!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have momentous news: our lawsuit is now officially being heard by the court. This is the breakthrough we've been fighting for, and it validates the strength of our case. This progress is thanks entirely to <strong>your </strong>support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>However, it also means our legal expenses are increasing. To see this through to victory, we need to raise our funding goal to $75,000. Every single donation, no matter the size, pushes us forward. Please help us take this to the finish line. This is our moment!

</div>
<div>Our fundraising goal is To cover 100% of the legal fees for the two plaintiffs in the pending lawsuit. Funds are distributed to a bank account created in the name of Responsible Development Alliance and withdrawn only to pay invoices directly to the plaintiffs' attorney.
</div>

</div>
<div>Our names are Brandi and Helen, and we are friends of our beneficiaries. They are two longtime residents of our neighborhood who bravely stepped forward to file a legal challenge against the City Council. They are exercising their lawful right to appeal last year’s rezoning decision that sought to clear the way for heavy industrial operations right in the middle of our residential community. To protect their privacy and shield them from any undue pressure during this ongoing legal battle, we are keeping their identities confidential here. Please know they are everyday people, not activists or politicians, who refused to stay silent when our homes and health were put on the line.

</div>
<div>How 100% of Your Donation Will Be Used:
</div>
<div>Every single dollar you donate will go directly toward paying outstanding legal fees. Specifically, funds will cover:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>· Attorney hourly fees for the pursuit of the reversal of the rezoning decision.
</div>
<div>· Court filing fees.
</div>
<div>· Expert witness fees required for their case.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How We Are Managing the Funds:
</div>
<div>Per our plaintiffs’ request, we are managing these funds on their behalf to relieve their stress during this difficult time.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To ensure 100% transparency, please know we are paying the plaintiffs’ attorney directly from this account, so no money ever touches our beneficiary's personal bank account.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because we know that every dollar counts, we want to make it clear that not one cent is used for ANY type of overhead. It all goes to attorney fees to ensure our plaintiffs, on behalf of our community, receive the representation they deserve.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Please Note: As you make a donation, the GoFundMe system pre-sets a Tip for GoFundMe Services. We suggest you drag the bar back from 17.5 down to 0. We are unable to adjust this globally and are told donors have to do that on their own. We apologize for any confusion. GoFundMe automatically gets 3% of all donations. This is an EXTRA Tip amount they will charge you. You decide if you want to do that, please.</strong>

<div><strong>We thank you for your support!</strong>

</div>
<div>We are a community raising funds for attorney fees to fight a microchip manufacturing facility proposed to be built in our neighborhoods.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We presented pages of real, unbiased information to our city council to resist rezoning a plot of land from residential to heavy industrial, and the Council voted against our interests in favor of rezoning and enabling the plant to be built. <strong>We now need to fight this decision to keep our community safe.</strong>
</div>
