<div>When three-year-old *Theo first arrived at Ilkley Pre-School, they barely spoke. Their confidence was low, and their parent worried every day about how they would cope at school.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Within weeks, the experienced team had gently built trust. Through patient conversation, creative play, and daily encouragement, words began to come. Confidence grew. Friendships formed.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Now, that same child walks in independently, hangs up their coat, and proudly chats to staff and friends.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is what Ilkley Pre-School does.
</div>
<div>It turns uncertainty into confidence.
</div>
<div>It turns shyness into friendship.
</div>
<div>It turns little steps into big leaps.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But at the <strong>end of April 2026</strong> this safe, nurturing space could disappear.After over 60 years at the heart of Ilkley, we urgently need <strong>£30,000</strong> to stay open.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If we don’t raise it, children will lose their pre-school, families will face disruption, and a piece of Ilkley’s history will close its doors.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If we do raise it, we secure our future and continue supporting local children for generations to come.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please help us write the next chapter.
