<div>I'm raising funds on behalf of the family of my friend, Basheer Anwar. We are looking to raise funds in order to build a water well in the birth town of his late father, which we hope will be a means of Sadaqah Jariyah for him and all who participate in this khayr.

<div>Last Thursday, we lost our beloved father unexpectedly. He was a deeply generous and merciful man who treated everyone around him with kindness and compassion. To honor his beautiful character and legacy, we hope to build water wells as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) in his name.
</div>

<div>The Prophet ﷺ said, "When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them." (Muslim)
</div>

<div>We pray that this project becomes a means of ongoing reward for our father and a source of benefit for those in need.
