<div>We have set up this GoFundMe to raise funds for Sadaqah Jaariyah (ongoing charity) on behalf of our beloved aunt, Momotaj Begum, who returned to her Lord. She was a kind, loving, and generous soul who touched many hearts in her lifetime.

<div>On Thursday 10th July 2025, Momotaj Begum passed suddenly, Qadr of Allah (The Will of God). She will dearly be missed by everyone who knew her.

<div>She was truly one of the kindest, most loving, and most generous people - always giving, a truly selfless soul who thought about others before herself. Her pure heart and character will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her.

<div>This page has been created by Family to fundraise for a masjid to be built in Africa as a Sadaqah Jaariyah for Momotaj Begum. Your contribution can help construct a 150-square-meter masjid, offering essential support to the local community. This mosque will be a center for daily prayers, Friday sermons, and Janazah prayers, alongside Islamic education. It will also host marriage ceremonies, counseling sessions, and community events. For £10,400, with space for 156 worshipers inside, including a separate area for women, the mosque also provides an outdoor area for extra worshipers.
