<div>This run is for those living with ALS, a disease that steals movement and muscle while leaving the mind untouched. It’s merciless. And yet, those facing it often meet it with quiet strength; steady, unshakable, deeply human.

<div>Our friend, colleague, father, and husband is in that fight. Derek’s calm presence and quiet resilience have left a lasting mark on our lives. He would never ask for the spotlight, but his impact deserves to be honoured and his family deserves our help.

<div>ALS has no cure. There’s no fixing this. But we can show up. We can run. We can give. We can help carry a bit of the weight, even if it's just for a moment.
